Killer Brownies: gluten-free, grain-free, sugar-free

How can a brownie truly be called “killer” if it has no gluten, grain, or sugar? A plain, dry, tasteless brown thing comes to mind. Because of my dietary sensitivities I’ve choked those down with tea and tried to smile. But lo, after much finessing of other recipes, I now present a gooey, sweet, chocolatey, satisfying wonder of a brownie.

The ingredients you don’t have, can be bought online through  Vitacost.

Alternate Life Brownies

Sugar free, gf, grain free

1 cups Almond Flour
1/4 c coconut flour
1/2 c shredded coconut
1 TB baking powder
1/2+ cup cacao powder
1 scoops protein powder
3/4 cup erythritol/xylitol combo
(powdered in coffee grinder)
2 tsp instant coffee

1/2 c cup softened butter (grass-fed Kerrygold at Trader Joe’s)
1/2 cup coconut oil melted–add last!
5 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup Lily’s stevia Chocolate chips (I get 3 batches from 1 $7 bag)
2 tsp chocolate liquid stevia

Instructions:
Mix all together
oven 350F
Undercook. 19 mins in glass 9×13
Store in refridgerator after 2 days
So good =😂🔺

These aren’t cakey, and will look nearly raw, somewhere between a soufflé and brown cheese dip. Not to worry. Enjoy!

    1. Dear Mary, that odd, disjointed post was something my phone created whilst I slept. I have a new charger that likes to text random things, and create posts. It hilarious! Anyway, I edited to a brownie recipe. Its tastier.
